Welcome to our home and our nice neighbourhood around Hornstull.
Below is some general info about the apartment and a small neighborhood guide to ensure that your stay will be as good as possible!
How to get to and from the apartment:
The easiest and cheapest way to the apartment is to take the shuttle bus. The company is called Flygbussarna and you can find them right outside the terminal. A single journey costs 129 sek per person (this price if you pay in advance, otherwise it costs about SEK 20 extra).

Get off at the station that is called Hornstull.
From there it is a five minutes walk to the apartment. See map HERE.
If you prefer to take a taxi. You will find cars outside the terminals.
It will cost 500-600 SEK.
Choose Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Taxi020 or TopCab.
You can also use Uber or Bolt if you would prefer that.
Due to staff shortage at the security checkpoints in Terminal 5 there are risks of longer waiting times.
The code to the front door is 1908, the apartment is on floor 1. It says Adamo on the door.

When you enter the apartment you will have username and password to the WIFI on the black board to the left.

Cleaning:
If you need to use cleaning supplies during your stay, you will find all you need behind the door to the left of the bathroom.
The dishwasher is behind the door to the right under the sink.
Throw trash in the wooden "house" in the backyard, you can see it from the kitchen window.
Feel free to use the washing machine, you will find washing powder were the cleaning supplies are.
If the plants are dry, I would be very happy if you give them some water :)
Trash:
There´s a small shed i the backyard, you can see it through the kitchen window, where you can throw your trash.
The nearest recycling station can be found opposite to Varvsgatan 21, here you can throw glass, paper & plastic etc.
In Sweden we never wear shoes inside!
Transportation:
The subway is a three minutes walk from the apartment. It´s on Hornsbruksgatan. Go right when you go out from the door. After two blocks you are at Hornsbruksgatan, turn right and you´ll find it after 100m. You can also access the Hornstull station from Hornstull centre a block away. You will pass both on your way from the airport bus.
Parking:
You can park on the streets around the apartment. There´s usually no problem finding a spot , especially during summertime. Just make sure to check the signs, there´s specific days you can´t park on some streets.

For kids:
There are a lot playgrounds in the area.
Drakenbergsparken is a large playground that is adjacent to a large green park called Tantolunden which is adjacent to a small beach, jetty and diving tower where you can swim.
Högalidsparken is our nearest playground. Here is a small shallow pool where children can play during the summer.
If you go over the bridge (Västerbron) towards Kungsholmen, you'll find another large park with a playground called Rålambshovsparken. You will also find a skateboard park, boule courts and swimming areas.

For walks:
You can easily explore all inner city areas by foot.
For a good stroll, follow the water from Tantolunden towards Skanstull. Or take a walk around Långholmen.
For a picnic with a view go to Skinnarviksberget, you can climb up the stairs from Yttersta tvärgränd.
Another good place for a walk with a view. Go to Monteliusvägen.
There´s two pharmacies around and inside Hornstulls Galleria. You can find simple common things such as painkillers and patches in the bathroom cabinet.
Groceries:
The closest supermarket is opposite of the subway station on Hornsbruksgatan. In the Hornstulls centre you will find a huge supermarket on the bottom floor.

Award winning cocktail bar and good food. Get your hipster mood right and get in here for some mad delicious cocktails and a nice unpretentious vibe. Also, feeling for a Sunday brunch? This one's one of the better.

The best rooftop terrace on Södermalm. Great coctails and ice cold roséwine. You can order pizza from Enzo´s downstairs and bring to the terrace.

One of the latest trends in Stockholm is the Asian burger called Bao. And no one does them better than Bao. Get there here for some great Bao, craft beer and friendly prices.

Grab a falafel around lunch time. No pre fab here, just pure perfection and great grub for the lunch hours.

Here they take the Italian coffee serious. But more that the coffe this is the kind of coffee bar every neighbourhood has, you just need to know them. Order a a great macchiato, a pizza slice and be a part of the buzz when the locals meet up in the morning.

Down by the sea in Hornstull under the bridge you find the marina restaurant Loopen. The best spot for soaking up the sun while zipping ice cold Carib and reggae tunes from the stereo. Fun people and boat watching, you sit at the dock watching the boat people pass by. Lively and crowded. (summertime)

Continue the boardwalk along the water from Hornstull towards Eriksdalsbadet and you soon find to your left a great French place, a boulebar in the open. French food & drinks. Nice atmosphere and perfectly located right by the sea. (summertime)

Sometimes you just want some great Chinese food. And this award winning Chinese restaurant is also one of the oldest in town. Nothing fancy here, just great Chinese food and always crowded. Order Mamas Chicken or their Cantonese ribs. To take out.

I hope you will like our recommendations. This is our personal choices in the closest neighbourhood. You will find a lot more shops, bars and restaurants than this!
